Terrazzo triangle

The terrazzo triangle is a terrazzo tile in the shape of a right-angled equilateral triangle according to the attached photo. It is a two-layer paving, where the upper visible layer is made of terrazzo rubble of various designs, colors and sizes, with the possibility of dyeing into the mass. The bottom, supporting layer, is made of river gravel and Portland cement. Triangles are produced in two basic sizes.

Triangles, like terrazzo paving, can be produced in a large number of colors and designs, for the possibility of subsequent color combinations in area and, of course, to create interesting color combinations and non-traditional solutions for floor areas.

If a laying plan is submitted, we can also prepare any borders, end profiles or other terrazzo elements = window sills, stair coverings, plinth tapes, etc.

The laying of these triangles is done in a concrete bed or on cement glue. We recommend a joint width of 3 mm for laying. After jointing the laid tiles, we recommend to gently sand and impregnate the surface to increase the effect.

This gives the customer an absolutely flat, interesting and exclusive floor.

Use

Terrazzo triangles can be used wherever there is a demand for a natural, interesting, highly resistant and a beautiful floor = business units, administrative areas, social spaces.

An increase in the effect is possible by using glass crumb in the desired pattern or by using a milled relief. See attached photos for some combinations.

In the case of manufactured triangles, the edges with sharp angles are reduced to an area of approx. 2 mm due to possible damage during handling. This also achieves an even joint in the floor.
